Ingredients
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 19-oz can garbanzo beans, liquid reserved
- 4 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp salt
- black pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
1. Reserve a few garbanzo beans for garnish.
2. Place garlic, garbanzo beans, lemon juice, tahini, and salt in a blender. Blend until creamy and well-mixed, adding reserve liquid from garbanzo beans as needed to get the right consistency.
3. Transfer mixture to medium serving bowl. Sprinkle with pepper and pour olive oil over the top. Garnish with reserved garbanzo beans and serve.
