Spaghetti Crust Sausage & Mushroom Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 lb uncooked spaghetti (broken into thirds)
  • 3/4 - 1 lb cooked Italian Sausage, casings removed (cook the sausage
  • along with 1 medium chopped onion, can use more or less sausages)
  • 2 small jars sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Basil
  • 2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese (8oz)DIVIDED
  • 2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese (8oz)DIVIDED
  • 1 jar favorite spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400. Grease 15x10x1 inch pan. Remove casings from Italian Sausage and cook in frying pan. Break the spaghetti in thirds and cook in large pot until JUST al dente. Drain, and quickly rinse spaghetti and pot with cool water. Spread pasta into the bottom of the baking pan. In a small bowl, beat milk, eggs, salt, garlic powder, Italian Seasoning and Basil with whisk. Add to spaghetti. Add, drained mushrooms and cooked crumbled sausage. Sprinkle with 1 cup of Cheddar and 1 cup of Mozzarella Cheese. Drizzle spaghetti sauce over pan to cover everything. Sprinkle with last remaining 1 cup of each of the cheeses.

Bake on the bottom rack at 400 for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Serve immediately.
