Ingredients
- 3-4 1/2 lb shrimp,(not peeled, about 1/2-3/4 lb per person)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 10 oz beer, not light
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 t cayenne pepper
- 10 oz thick and spicy BBQ sauce
- 1/2 medium onion, coarsely chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter, saute onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add BBQ sauce, beer, cayenne pepper and stir. Heat until boiling. Add shrimp, reduce to medium heat. Allow to boil lightly for 10 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Cool slightly and serve. New Orleans custom makes this a hands on meal. Take shrimp, lick sauce off, peel and eat
