Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 lb butter
  • 6 T water
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 10-15 Hershey bars (plain, thin)
  • crushed pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cook sugar, butter, water and vanilla in deep pan until hard crack stage (30 minutes). Use candy thermometer. Lay Hershey bars over the top after hot mixture is poured into large pan. Sprinkle with crushed pecans.
