Ingredients
- 12 medium apples
- 3/4 c light brown sugar
- 6 T butter
- 1 1/2 t ground nutmeg
- 1/3 c chopped almonds

Step 1
Core apples. Remove 1" strip skin from apple at top. Mix sugar, butter, nutmeg and nuts. Stuff with mix. Place upright in 13 x 9" pan. Pour water in up to 1/4". Bake 30-40 minutes at 375. Serve on softened ice cream
