Ingredients

  • 2 packages ( 8 ounces each ) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can ( 8 ounces ) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups finely chopped pecans or walnuts, divided
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt

Step 1

1. In mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add crushed pineapple, 1 cup of the nuts, green pepper, onion and salt; mix well. Cover and chill.
2. Divide mixture in half; shape into balls and roll in nuts. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Serve with crackers.
Makes 2 Cheese Balls
