- 1 c sugar
- 1/4 t cream of tartar
- 1/4 t salt
- 5 T cold water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 t vanilla

Step 1
Mix sugar, salt, cream of tartar, water in pan. Stir and bring to full rolling boil over medium flame. Place egg white in small mixing bowl. Do not beat until syrup is cooked. Pour syrup slowly over egg whites while beating at high speed. Reduce to medium, add vanilla and beat until spreading consistency.
