Ingredients
- Honey Mustard Sauce:
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground turmeric
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) ketchup
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sambal oelek
- 6 whole chicken legs, with the skin

Directions Honey Mustard Sauce:
1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
2. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, brown the onion & garlic in the oil.
3. Add the pepper & turmeric & continue cooking for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat & stir in the honey, ketchup, prepared mustard, Dijon mustard & sambal oelek.
4. Set the sauce aside.
Directions Chicken:
1. In a 13 x 9 inch (33 x 23 cm) baking dish, place the chicken legs. Drizzle the chicken with the honey mustard sauce.
Cook the chicken for about 1 hour or until the meat pulls easily from the bone.
