  • crust
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tblsp ground hazel nuts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • cream
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 tblsp sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tblsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 tblsp flour

Preparation

Step 1

crust
mix all dry ingredients
add in butter until crumble
mix in egg only enough to form dough
refrigerate 1 hour
bake 325 for 15 min covered pie pan then 5-10 to brown crust

pastry cream
in saucepan dissolve sugar in cream
in bowl add egg & flour
in saucepan add all ingredients & heat to thicken
chill in fridge for 1-2 hours
