Ingredients
- whole chicken or chicken breasts
- 6 T butter
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 t salt
- 3 c chicken broth
- egg noodles

Preparation
Step 1
cook chicken, whole or chicken breasts in water to cover. Save water.
Remove meat from bones. (Faster to use boneless chicken breasts) cut into chunks. Need about 6 c. (more or less). Remove skin BEFORE dicing.
Melt 6 T butter, stir in 1/2 c. flour, 1 t salt. Add 3 c chicken broth(the water you saved). Stir in until thickens. Serve over cooked noodles. If I have chicken mix and noodles left, I mix together. Freeze if not wanted then. (editor's note: I do not quite understand the last sentence)
