Ingredients

  • 1/2 cold boiled chicken, diced
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 1 scallion, minced
  • 1 c rice, uncooked
  • 1 c chow mein noodles
  • 3 T oil
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c chicken broth
  • Thickening: 1/2 c cold water, 2 T cornstarch, 2 T soy sauce, 1 t MSG (optional),

Preparation

Step 1

Mix thickening. Set aside. Drain sprouts. Prepare garlic, scallion. Cook rice according to directions. Quick fry scallions, chicken, garlic in hot oil. Add drained sprouts and broth. Cover, simmer 5 minutes. Add thickening. Stir. Cook 5 minutes. Top with chow mein noodles before serving
