Ingredients
- 6 ounces jumbo pasta shells (about 18)
- 1 jar Marinara Sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 container ricotta cheese (15 ounce)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella (divided)
- 3/14 cups graded parmesan cheese (divided)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 pound ground beef (I use sausage)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Spray bottom of your 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray
Boil water and add 2 tablespoons butter so shells don't stick
Add pasta, return to a boil and boil for 10 minutes
Drain pasta
While pata cooks, in a large bowl, beat egg. Stir in rictorra, 1 1/3 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup of parmesan, parsley, and meat.
Assemble:
Spread 1 cup of sauce in the baking dish
Fill cooked shells with ricotta mixures and arrange shells in dish
Pour remaining sauce over the shells and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minuntes
