Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 tsp. soda
• 1 cup shortening
• 4 tsp. baking powder
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together sugar, shortening. Add eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by spoon full and flatten with your hand.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
