Ingredients
- Sausages of choice, cut into 1 1/2" chunks on the diagonal
- I used two PC Turkey BBQ sausages with parsley from the deli counter. It would need to be some kind of already smoked sausage to work in the ActiFry, not a fresh Italian sausage for instance. Smokies should work, etc.
Preparation
Step 1
Cut sausage into chunks and add to the ActiFry pan (no oil). Set the timer for 20 - 25 minutes.
The first time I made them, I did 20 minutes first then a further 5. I thought they were just on the edge of overdone but Dan said he liked the crunch. I did too. Depending on the individual sausage, you'll have to judge time starting at 15 minutes or so. They started smelling wonderful at five minutes.
They created a couple of tablespoons of fat, which I discarded, even though they were turkey sausage. NO OIL IS REQUIRED.
