- 2 2/3 cups Flour
- 1 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 sticks + 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp + 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350F. In a bowl, whisk together the baking soda, flour and salt. In a separate bowl, beat 1½ sticks butter with and electric mixer and fold in the sugar, the eggs one at a time and 1½ teaspoons vanilla. Mix until smooth and silky in texture. Mix in the flour and buttermilk. Fill the cupcake pans with the batter and bake for 18 minutes. While you wait, beat the cream cheese and remaining butter with the powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add in the vanilla and mix until well combined. Pour the frosting into a ziplock bag and cut off a corner for easy frosting. Once the cupcakes are done, set aside to cool for at least 10 minutes. Frost and enjoy.
