Blazing Bacon and Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Bacon, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Mad Dog 357 Reaper Sriracha Sauce
  • 2 large Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 can (15 oz) Diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups Savoy cabbage leaves, thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Heat a large pot (or extra large skillet) over a medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook until evenly browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in the Mad Dog 357 Reaper Sriracha Sauce, potatoes, tomatoes (with their juice), and the chicken stock. Season to taste and bring to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Finally, stir in the cabbage and simmer for a few minutes longer, then serve piping hot.
