Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 C brown sugar
- 1/2 C Light corn syrup
- 1 TBSP vanilla
- 16 oz Corn Chex (it now comes in 14 oz boxes, so that's what I used)
- 16 oz Wheat Chex " " "
- 2 C Honey roasted nuts (I can't eat peanuts so I added salted Deluxe Mixed Nuts, leaving out the Brazil nuts)
- 2 C Candy Corn
- Another recipe I saw called for Betty Crocker orange and black candy decor - which I thought would be cute, but I couldn't find them, so I added orange and brown mini and regular M&Ms.

Prep
Mix Chex and nuts in large roasting pan. Set aside.
Melt butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla over med-high heat. Heat to boiling.
Pour over cereal, tossing well to coat.
Bake for 45 minutes at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread out on wax paper to cool.
When cool, stir in candy corn and other candies.
Store in airtight container.
