Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti pasta
- 1 # lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups mozzarella/provolone shredded cheese
- 1 (24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook pasta - drain - do not rinse
2. Combine in large bowl: beef, onions, peppers, 1 egg, oregano, seasoned salt, and garlic powder until blended. Spread mixture evenly in 13x9 baking pan
3. Whisk remaining 2 eggs in medium bowl; stir in 1/2 cup cheese until blended. Add pasta; toss to coat. Spread pasta evenly over meat mixutre. Pour pasta sauce over top. Sprinkle with remaining 1 1/2 cups cheese
4. Bake 30 -35 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
