- 4 cups cold water, chicken broth or a combination
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup coarse-ground polenta
- 2 tblsp butter, softened
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Place the inner pot into the rice cooker. Add cold water and salt to the inner pot. Stir in polenta and press White Rice. Let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Cook until polenta is soft and creamy and grains are soft. Stir in butter, pepper and cheese. Serve immediately.
