Hot Cocoa for a Group

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 1 1/4 C Cocoa
  • 1/2 t. Salt
  • 3/4 C. Hot Water
  • 4 Quarts (1 Gallon) Milk
  • 1 T. Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Step 1

Note; This recipe will produce about twenty two 6oz. servings.

1. In a 6 quart Saucepan combine Sugar, Cocoa and Salt; Gradually add Hot Water.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir for 2 minutes.

3. Add Milk; heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally. DO NOT BOIL.

4. Remove from heat; add Vanilla. Serve hot.
