24/02/17 - VVG, small hit of heat. I didn't try the sauce because I had other dishes going on but I think I'd like it with mine.
- 3
Ingredients
- 500 grams baby potatoes, washed and halved
- 2 teaspoons ras el hanout
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon duck fat
- Labneh Sauce (Optional - for me only)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- Juice/Zest 1/4 large lemon
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
Preparation
Step 1
Soak potatoes for several hours then drain and dry well.
Put potatoes in a bowl or a ziplock bag (if making ahead) and add the ras el hanout, chili flakes, salt, pepper and olive oil and toss well to coat everything.
Melt the duck fat in the ActiFry for a minute or two if necessary then add the potatoes and set for 50 minutes.
Optional Labneh Sauce: Combine the yogurt, pinch each of salt and pepper and the juice/zest of the lemon quarter and blend. Add the mint and mix well. Refrigerate if making ahead and serve with my potatoes.
