Healthy And Delicious Ginger Tea

Where has this been all my life!! Delicious tea that's also very good for you.

Ingredients

  • 1 (1-inch) piece of fresh ginger, shaved off in very thin slices
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • Fresh lemon or lime juice*, to taste
  • Sugar or artificial sweetener, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave water in a 2-cup glass measuring cup until it comes to a boil. Add the ginger and let steep for 10-15 minutes, stirring once or twice.

Remove ginger, then pour the tea into a large mug and season to taste with lemon/lime juice and sweetener of choice. (*Most times, I just use True Lemon powder and sugar or Sweet 'N Low but it will turn the tea a bit cloudy but doesn't affect the taste).
