Pot Roast in Crock Pot 0 Picture


  • 2-3 lbs. Chuck Roast
  • 5 potatoes cut into chunks
  • 1 onion cut into chunks
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 cups beef stock or broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper



Step 1

First cut all of the potatoes and onions into large chunks.

Add pot roast to the crock pot, then potatoes, onions and carrots.

Add seasonings over top.

Add beef stock or broth. The roast should be covered in liquid so add water until the roast is covered.

Cook on high for 5 hours.

Remove potatoes, onions and carrots. Bring gravy to a boil and whisk in flour to thicken the gravy.
