Ingredients
- 2-3 leftover biscuits
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 recipe spice rub
- Spice Rub
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
- 3 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the biscuits into 1/8-inch thick slices and place on baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with spice rub. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crunchy, flipping halfway through if necessary.
Tip: Store in a zip top bag for up to 1 week. Crush up and use as croutons on a salad or serve with a dip.
In a small bowl combine the dark brown sugar, dried thyme, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Tip: Keep in a zip top bag or airtight container and use on your favorite meats, grilled vegetables, nuts or even salad dressings!
