Ingredients
- For The Bars:
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups graham cracker crumb
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- For The Chocolate:
- 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chips
- 4 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
Line a 9x13 pan with foil, extending the sides of the foil over the edges of the pan. Spray the foil lightly with cooking spray' set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracket crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla until combined. Mixture will be runny.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smmoth out the top. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Once the bar layer has some what firmed up, make the chocolate topping.
In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter and heavy cream. Microwave on high power 20-30 seconds. stir , then heat again for another 10-15 seconds, stirring until melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth out on top. Refrigerate omce more for another 30 minutes.
