Ingredients
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- pinch salt
- 1 1/3 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl beat butter with icing sugar till smooth. Add vanilla and salt. Stir in flour till just combined and form into ball.
Will make 12 muffin tin sized tarts. Form into 2 tbsp balls and press into muffin tin and up sides.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
I had to "press down" the dough through baking and at the end .....
Very nice and shortbready !!
