Bakery quality buttercream

Ingredients

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together the butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until well blended then beat on high speed for 3 minutes.

Add the vanilla and 2 tablespoons of cream and beat for another minute, adding more cream to reach your desired consistency.
