This Cloud bread is practically carb free. Just like a cloud, this bread is fluffy - soft and makes a great figure friendly bread substitute.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, separated into yolks and whites
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (or cream of tartar)
  • 1 packet low-calorie sweetener

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°F. Separate the eggs into yolks and white.

In a mixing bowl, mix egg yolks, sweetener, and cream cheese together.

Separately, in another bowl, beat the whites and baking powder together with an electric mixer until the egg whites form stiff peaks.

Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.

Spoon the loosely folded mixture into rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and place it in pre-heated oven.

Cook for around 30 minutes or until lightly brown. Keep an eye on the bread, as it tends to burn easily.

After cooling on a rack, the bread is ready to eat.
