The Bestest Belgian Waffles

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 TBS + 2tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 TBS vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Separate the eggs.
In small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
Mix together the egg yolks, milk and butter and stir slightly.
Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Cook in waffle iron.
