Ingredients
- 2 - 28 oz cans diced tomatoes
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Italian Dresssing
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients and cook on low and simmering for 90 minutes till thickened. Add olive oil at the end and simmer 1-2 minutes. Using an immersion blender - puree till smooth.
I have frozen this for future uses.
