Brunch Eggs


Nice breakfast casserole for anytime. Recipe comes from my grandmother.

  • 16 Eggs (My grandma adds about 20)
  • 16 slices of bread- Cut
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • 2 tsp. Salt (optional, my grandma doesn't use it)
  • 2 tsp. Dry Mustard
  • 2 lbs. either bacon or pork sausage- Fried, dried and crumbled
  • 2 lbs. Grated Cheese (You can use either cheddar or swiss)


Preparation time 45mins


Step 1

Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl (trust me you will need it, If you have one with a lid it would best.)
Let sit overnight
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Grease two 9X13 pans well
Bake at 530 for 45 min. (I also use a casserole crockpot, not sure at the moment how much longer it takes but I will put that time up soon. I am making this tomorrow.)
