Rice Pudding

  • 2/3 cup Minute Rice
  • 2 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine minute rice, milk, sugar, raisins, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, nutmeg in a buttered one quart baking dish. Bake for one hour, stirring after 15 minutes and again when pudding is done.

Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or chilled. Pudding thickens as it stands.
