Creamy Brussels Sprouts

  • 2 pints Brussels Sprouts
  • 2 T. Butter
  • 1/4 C. Lemon Juice
  • 1 C. Dairy Sour Cream
  • 1/2 t. Salt
  • 1/8 t. Pepper
  • 2 T. Fresh Parsley
  • Sliced Pimento-Stuffed Olives



Step 1

1. Wash Sprouts, trim stem ends and remove loose or yellow leaves. Let stand a few minutes in cool salted Water.

2. Heat Butter in skillet over medium heat. Drain Sprouts and add to Butter. Cover and steam about 10 minutes. Shake skillet occasionally until Sprouts are crisp-tender (check with fork). Add Lemon Juice and steam 2 minutes more. Add Sour Cream, Salt and Pepper; heat. Top with parsley and olives.

3. Yields 6 servings.
