Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c Butter (softened)
- 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 4 1/2 c Powdered Sugar (plus a little more)
- 3 T Heavy Cream
- 1 1/2 t Vanilla extract (clear if desired or almond extract can be used)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the butter and cream cheese on high until white and fluffy with hand mixer using either whisk or regular beaters. Scrape down sides frequently.
Add sifted powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla and mix on low until blended. Increase speed to medium or high and beat until very light and fluffy.
Immediately spread over cooled cake or cupcakes.
Can be used as a dip for cinnamon "Teddy Bears" or other fun things.
