Crab Bombs

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb. fresh crabmeat
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. fresh chopped chives
  • 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1



Mix together crab, egg, 1/2c. Panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise and chives.

2 Gently form into balls. Gently cover with thin dusting of panko breadcrumbs on all sides and place on a baking sheet. Overwrap with plastic and chill for 2 hours.

Deep fry in peanut oil.

Serve with aioli.
