Ingredients
- 1 cup P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Shortening or vegetable oil for greasing the pan
Preparation
Step 1
Mix P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
Heat milk and butter in a pot. Remove before it boils.
Pour hot milk over the sweet corn mixture and add the egg, slightly whisked. Knead well until the batter is thick.
Grease a hot pan or griddle and pour the batter, forming 4-inch wide discs. Cook both sides until golden brown.
Serve with butter, honey, jam, maple syrup, bacon, eggs and/or sausages.
