Maple Sage Glazed Turnips

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sm turnips, trimmed and peeled
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh sage
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cut turnips in half, and into 1/2" wedges. Combine remaining in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add turnips, turning to coat. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until tender. Uncover and cook 7 minutes or until turnips are glazed.
