Ingredients
- Turmeric Paste:
- 2 C coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp to 1 Tbl Turmeric Paste
- 1 Tbl chopped ginger
- 4-6 black peppercorns
- pinck Stevia
- 1/2 C water
- 1/4 C turmeric
Preparation
Step 1
Paste:
Add water and turmeric to small saucepan and sir over gentle heat 7-10 minutes (can add more water if too thick). Transfer to glass container and store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Drink:
Stir all ingredients together and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain through fine mesh strainer, then pour into mug. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Makes about 2 cups.
