Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces blended Scotch
  • 3/4 ounce Cinzano or other vermouth rosso
  • 1 dash Angostura or Orange Bitters
  • twist of orange or lemon
  • cherries and/or sweet cocktail onions, to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Fill serving glasses with crushed ice to chill them.

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir well for about 20 seconds, then strain into the chilled cocktail glass. Twist a piece of lemon or orange peel over the drink and use as garnish.
