Breakfast Egg Cake Bake (Kevin Conroy)

Ingredients

  • 15 eggs
  • white bread(about 10 slices for 1 aluminum tray)
  • melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • shredded cheese
  • bacon
  • crumbled sausage
  • spinach
  • feta
  • you can use any filler that you like, but bread and egg and milk and butter are staple ingredient

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 375
cook bacon, sausage or any other meat that you may be using. Sauté vegetables if necessary. Set aside
melt butter and butter the bottom of an aluminum pan.
layer white bread to cover bottom of pan, cutting bread to fit if necessary.
layer bacon, sausage, vegetables or what ever you are using and sprinkle with cheese. Layer again with bread that has been coated (both sides) with melted butter.
sprinkle more meat or vegetables and then top with shredded cheese.
Beat 15 eggs with 1/2 cup of milk.
Poor over the top of all. Bake at 375 for an hour, 1/2 hour uncovered then 1/2 hour covered with foil.

**1 pan would use about 2 lb of black label thick cut bacon OR 2 bags (9.6 oz each) jimmy dean crumbled sausage)
For 1 pan half sausage half bacon use 1 lb bacon 1 bag sausage crumbles
