Terri's Seven Layer Salad

Ingredients

  • ripped lettuce
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup frozen peas, rinsed in water
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

This recipe is for 1 4x8" pyrex loaf pan. Double recipe and use a 9x13" pyrex dish.

Line bottom with ripped lettuce, and top with next 4 ingredients. Mix mayonnaise and sugar together, and layer next. Top with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Refrigerate overnight.
