Boston Baked Bean Dip
Boston Baked Bean Dip is the sweet and savory party starter that your guests are craving, so whip up this appetizer and serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, corn chips, or toasted bread points. - 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (1.25-ounce) package McCormick® Tex Mex Chili Seasoning Mix*
- 1 (16-ounce) can navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup Coke
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon molasses, optional
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- cheese, to taste
- green onions, to taste
- bacon, crisped, chopped, to taste
- sour cream, to taste

Cook bacon and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat until bacon is crisp.
Stir in seasoning mix, navy beans, Coke, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses (optional), apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard. Bring to boil. Reduce to a gentle simmer, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until beans are tender and thickened, stirring occasionally.
Once beans are tender, stir in 1/4 cup sour cream. If beans have become too thick, stir in a few tablespoons water until beans are creamy.
Garnish with toppings of choice: cheese, green onions, bacon, and/or sour cream, and serve warm with crackers.
