Creamed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Bacon -1 lb.
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 5 packages button mushrooms
  • 2 pints of heavy cream divided
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Rosemary
  • Parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Fry the Bacon. Saute the onion in the bacon grease until soft. Add mushrooms and saute until tender-about 7 mins. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary and parsley. Add 1 1/2 pints of the cream and bring to a boil. If preparing ahead of time (makes them taste better) reheat using the other 1/2 pint of cream.
