Green Goop

Ingredients

  • 40 lg. marshmallows
  • 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. lime gelatin
  • 1 (8 oz.) and 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (20 oz.) and 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Melt marshmallows and lime gelatin in 7 cups boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Refrigerate until set. At least 1 hour before ready to serve, whip the gelatin-marshmallow mixture in a large bowl using an electric mixer.
Soften cream cheese with a fork, adding a little pineapple juice to make it soft enough to whip. Add to gelatin mixture and whip until well blended. Fold in drained pineapple, whipped cream. Chill until set.
