Ingredients

    lb ground beef (or even better, 1/2 lb ground beef 1/2 lb Italian sausage)

  • 1

    medium onion, chopped

  • 2

    15oz cans tomato sauce

  • 1

    tbs minced garlic

  • 3

    tbs Worcestershire sauce

  • 1

    beef bouillon cube

  • 1

    tbs basil

  • 1

    tbs sugar

  • 1

    tbs oregano

  • 2

    tsp black pepper

  • 2

    tsp salt

  • 3

    cups water

  • 1

    box (16 oz) pasta (spaghetti, penne, whatever)

Directions

1. Turn on Instant Pot saute function, press + so it's sauteing on high heat. 2. Add ground beef and onion. Saute until meat is browned and onions are translucent. 3. Add garlic and saute another minute or so. 4. Dissolve beef bouillon cube in the water in a separate bowl. 5. Turn off Instant Pot. Add all remaining ingredients. Select Manual on Instant Pot, then press - until it is half the time the pasta says it takes (for penne, my box said 11-12 mins so I selected 6 minutes). 6. Let pressure release naturally for the remainder of the time the pasta is supposed to cook for, then release the remaining pressure.
