Chocolate Chip Cookies with nuts

Ingredients

• 2/3 c. shortening
• 1/2 c. sugar (granulize)
• 1/2 brown sugar (packed)
• 1 egg
• 1 t. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1/2 t. baking soda
• 1/2 salt
• 1/2 c. nuts chopped
• sliced almonds - package
• semi-sweetened chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven 375

Mix shortening sugars, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.

Mix flour, soda and salt, blend in thoroughly. Add nuts and chocolate chips with teaspoon, drop on ungreased cookies.

Bake 8-10 minutes
