Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground bulk, hot Italian sausage
- 2 cans (15.5 oz. each) Chili Hot Beans in Chili Sauce
- 2 cans (14.5 oz. each) diced Italian tomatoes
- 2 cans (4 oz.) diced green chilies
- 1 jar (4.5 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 2-3 tsp. chili powder
- 4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. chipotle sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In medium frying pan, cook sausage until brown; drain.
Stir in chili hot beans, tomatoes, green chilies, mushrooms, tomato juice, chili powder, garlic powder and chipotle sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour.
Cook's Note: For extra hotness, add 1 tsp. of red pepper flakes.
