Garlic Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of margarine or butter
  • 3 lbs red potatoes
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tbs paprika

Directions
Cut the potatoes into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl of cold water (to keep from browning) as you cut the remaining potatoes.
Once all the potatoes are cut up rinse well in cold water to remove most of the starch.
Keep the potatoes in the cold water until you are ready to cook.
Drain well before cooking.
Melt the margarine or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the drained potatoes, chopped garlic, salt and pepper to the skillet and toss well.
Cover the skillet and cook, tossing occasionally until the potatoes are fork tender.
Sprinkle the paprika over the cooked potatoes and stir to combine.
