Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Cocoa
- 1/3 C. Plus 2 T. Shortening
- 1 C. Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3/4 C. Flour
- 1/2 t. Baking Powder
- 1/2 t. Salt
- 1/2 C. Broken Nuts
Preparation
Step 1
1. Blend Cocoa and Shortening until creamy. Beat in the Sugar and Eggs.
2. In another bowl, mix; Flour, Baking Powder and Salt together and then add cocoa mixture. Stir in the Nuts.
3. Spread into an 8 inch square pan (8x8x2). Bake until the crust looks dull. Cool slightly then cut into squares.
