Fresh Brazilian Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
  • 3/4 c chopped Vidalia onion
  • 2-1/4 c chopped tomatoes (use 1/2 real and 1/2 from a can with juice)
  • juice from one lemon
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 1/4 t cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerator for at least one hour. Serve with tortilla chips.
